1. What Data We Collect
We collect your email address and name via Auth0 authentication. We store your activity on the platform: contracts created, orders placed, and trades executed. No payment information is collected.
2. How Auth0 Is Used
Authentication is handled by Auth0. When you sign in, Auth0 provides your email and a unique identifier. Strata Exchange does not store your password. Auth0's privacy policy governs their handling of your credentials.
3. How Data Is Used
Your data is used solely to operate the Strata Exchange beta: authenticate you, record your simulated trading activity, and provide portfolio data. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
4. Data Storage
Account and trading data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Auth session data is stored in httpOnly cookies on our Next.js server. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
5. Data Retention
Beta period data may be deleted at any time. When the beta concludes, all data will be reviewed and either migrated to production or deleted. We will notify participants before any data deletion.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. During the beta, accounts can be closed by the platform operators at any time.
